We live in a world where you have to look a certain way, have the perfect family and have at least 100,000 a year salary to be somebody or to feel accomplished. We continue to strive for the next level and never realize that who God called, he also qualified. You are where you need to be.
At times the enemy tried to sow seeds of doubt and unfulfillment in my heart because there was a part of me that didn’t feel like I was enough or had enough to be a great parent, wife, coworker or even friend. I didn’t want to apply for jobs because I felt inadequate. I judged myself against people who I thought had it all. I allowed what the world viewed as success, to define who I was. One early morning about 8 years ago, I was reading in Romans (one of my favorite books of the bible) and I came across this. Romans 8: 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
WHO COULD BE AGAINST ME??? If God called me to it, he will bring me through it. He gave me the vision so surely he will provided the provision. It’s all apart of his purpose for MY LIFE. That scripture changed my thought process which changed my life. We must believe even when we don’t see. Faith isn’t a visual thing. I can guarantee you that just about everything you are believing in God for will be contrary to what you see, hear, taste and feel. God’s way are beyond our common senses.
I want to encourage you to take a social media time out. This is important when the things you are seeing began to speak to your soul. Not focusing on #relationshipgoals #nailsgoals #makeupgoals #housegoals #familygoals #shoegame instead focus on YOU because you are ENOUGH!
Other scripture reads:
-Jeremiah 1:5
-Psalms 139:14
-Ephesian 2:10

Amen my sister ,we’ll said! I AM MORE THAN ENOUGH !!

This morning I asked God what to read. I was going through my old bible and I stumbled upon a page that was crumbled and looked ripped. And when I straighten it out it was Romans 8:28 and I began to read and read the rest of the chapter. And then to read your blog today that speaks upon my findings, All I can say is Amen! God is speaking and giving confirmation. God is preparing me and I am grateful.
